Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the Persona Blockchain Wallet. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Satoshi Studio ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Persona Blockchain Wallet application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or through the application. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Definitions

"Blockchain"
The Persona Blockchain distributed ledger technology that records transactions in a decentralized, immutable manner.
"Cryptocurrency"
Digital assets native to the Persona Blockchain, including but not limited to PRS tokens and other supported digital currencies.
"Private Key"
A cryptographic code that proves ownership of a blockchain address and allows access to funds stored at that address.
"Recovery Phrase"
A series of words generated by the Wallet that can be used to restore access to your blockchain addresses and funds.
"Gas Fees"
Transaction fees paid to network validators to process and confirm transactions on the Persona Blockchain.
"dApp"
Decentralized applications that interact with the Persona Blockchain and may be accessible through the Wallet.

Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be a resident of, or located in, any jurisdiction where use of cryptocurrency or blockchain services is prohibited by law
  • Not be subject to economic or trade sanctions by the United Nations, European Union, United States, or other applicable authorities
  • Not appear on any list of prohibited or restricted parties maintained by governmental authorities
Geographic Restrictions
The Services may not be available in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your location.

Account Creation and Security

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Account Security is Your Responsibility You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, private keys, and recovery phrase. We cannot recover your account or funds if you lose access to your recovery phrase.

Wallet Services

5.1 Non-Custodial Nature

The Persona Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. This means:

  • We do not hold, store, or control your private keys or cryptocurrency
  • You have sole control over your blockchain addresses and funds
  • We cannot freeze, reverse, or interfere with your transactions
  • You are solely responsible for securing your recovery phrase and private keys

5.2 Wallet Creation

When you create a wallet, the application generates cryptographic keys locally on your device. We never receive, store, or have access to:

  • Your private keys
  • Your recovery phrase (seed phrase)
  • Your transaction passwords or PINs
  • The contents of your encrypted wallet backup files

5.3 Transaction Processing

All transactions are broadcast directly to the Persona Blockchain network. We do not process, verify, or confirm transactions. Transaction confirmation depends on network conditions and validator consensus.

Blockchain Operations

6.1 Irreversibility

Transactions Are Irreversible
Blockchain transactions are irreversible and immutable. Once confirmed, transactions cannot be canceled, reversed, or refunded by us or anyone else. Always verify transaction details carefully before confirming.

6.2 Network Conditions

Blockchain networks may experience:

  • Congestion resulting in delayed transaction confirmation
  • Network upgrades or hard forks affecting functionality
  • Temporary unavailability due to maintenance or technical issues
  • Changes in gas fees based on network demand

6.3 Smart Contract Interactions

When you interact with smart contracts or dApps:

  • You acknowledge that smart contracts are code that executes automatically
  • We are not responsible for the functionality or security of third-party smart contracts
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities may result in loss of funds
  • You should review and understand smart contract code before interacting with it

Fees and Payments

7.1 Network Fees (Gas)

All blockchain transactions require payment of gas fees to network validators. These fees:

  • Are paid in the native cryptocurrency of the Persona Blockchain
  • Are determined by network conditions and transaction complexity
  • Are non-refundable, regardless of transaction outcome
  • Are displayed to you before transaction confirmation

7.2 Service Fees

We may charge fees for certain premium features or services. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them.

7.3 Third-Party Fees

When using integrated third-party services (exchanges, payment processors, etc.), additional fees may apply according to their terms.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Services for any of the following:

  1. Illegal activities, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions violations
  2. Fraud, phishing, or impersonation of any person or entity
  3. Distribution of malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  4. Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  5. Interference with network operations or other users' access
  6. Market manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, or fraudulent trading
  7. Infringement of intellectual property rights
  8. Harassment, abuse, or harmful content distribution
  9. Circumvention of security measures or rate limits
  10. Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including suspending or terminating accounts, reporting to authorities, and cooperating with law enforcement.

Security and Best Practices

You are responsible for implementing appropriate security measures:

  • Store your recovery phrase offline in a secure, physically protected location
  • Never share your private keys or recovery phrase with anyone
  • Use strong, unique passwords for your account
  • Enable biometric authentication where available
  • Keep your device operating system and application updated
  • Verify addresses carefully before sending transactions
  • Be cautious of phishing attempts and fake applications
  • Use hardware wallets for large amounts when possible
Security Warning We will never ask for your private keys, recovery phrase, or wallet password via email, chat, or phone. Anyone requesting this information is attempting to steal your funds.

Risk Disclosure

By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

10.1 Cryptocurrency Risks

  • Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices can be extremely volatile
  • Loss of Access: Lost recovery phrases result in permanent loss of funds
  • Regulatory Changes: Laws may affect the legality or value of cryptocurrencies
  • Technology Risks: Blockchain technology is experimental and may have undiscovered vulnerabilities

10.2 Operational Risks

  • Network Failures: Blockchain networks may experience outages or forks
  • Smart Contract Bugs: Code vulnerabilities may lead to fund loss
  • User Error: Incorrect transactions cannot be reversed
  • Third-Party Risks: Integrated services may fail or act maliciously
Risk Acknowledgment
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT CRYPTOCURRENCY INVOLVES SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL INVESTORS. ONLY USE FUNDS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE.

Intellectual Property

11.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, logos, text, graphics, and content, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
  • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks without prior written consent

11.2 Open Source

Certain components of our software may be open source and subject to separate license terms. Those terms govern your use of such components.

11.3 Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Services at any time. To delete your account data from our servers, contact us. Note that blockchain transaction history cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of distributed ledgers.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority
  • Your use poses a security risk or harm to others
  • We discontinue the Services

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services immediately ceases
  • Provisions intended to survive termination remain in effect
  • You remain responsible for all obligations incurred prior to termination
  • Your blockchain addresses and funds remain accessible via other compatible wallets using your recovery phrase

Limitation of Liability

13.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Any loss or theft of cryptocurrency or digital assets
  • Any damages arising from blockchain network failures or attacks
  • Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Non-Custodial Nature
BECAUSE WE DO NOT CUSTODY YOUR FUNDS OR HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR PRIVATE KEYS, WE CANNOT AND DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF YOUR ASSETS. YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SECURITY OF YOUR CRYPTOCURRENCY.

13.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, terrorist acts, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fires, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of Arbitration Institution. The arbitration shall take place in [City, Country] and be conducted in English.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class action or other representative action. You waive any right to participate in class claims.

14.4 Injunctive Relief

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending the completion of arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website with a revised effective date
  • Sending an email to your registered email address
  • Displaying a prominent notice within the application

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services.
